Description

Up for auction is “KAOLI”, A sweet little girl from the Shiny Doll Company, made by Japanese artist Doi Shin.
She is 12” tall and is in the PRICCO SERIES.
Her measurements are;
~Head circumference 7” (17.6 cm ),
~Around shoulder 6 1/2” ( 16.5 cm ),
~Bust 5 1/4” (13.5 cm),
~Waist 4” (10 cm),
~Hips 5 1/2” (14 cm),
~ Arms, from top of shoulder to wrist 3” (7.5 cm ),
~ Legs, Inseam to bottom of foot 4 1/2” ( 11.5 cm ).
She comes with brown glass eyes, eyelashes and face up. Her light and medium blonde wig is probably from Monique Gold Collection, but the tag has been cut, but there is evidence of red printing. The hair feels like it is the synthetic mohair.
Her body is jointed at neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees, and ankles. Her upper thigh is a swivel joint so she can turn her leg, for an example of sitting on the floor with the side of her knees against the floor.
Her four included outfits consist of;
~ GRAPE DRESS} Plum colored knitted dress with matching boots and pink knitted tights. The dress and boots are accented with glass beads to represent a cluster of grapes with green knitted leaves. Interesting nobby knitted design to lower dress and lower sleeves. Closes in back with three knitted buttons. Tag on dress is by Fairy Style.
~ CHERRY DRESS} Green knitted dress hair tie with matching boots and reddish brown knitted tights. The dress and boots are accented with light and dark red plastic beads representing cherries, there is yarn embroidery detail of leaves and branches on dress and boots. Knitted picot edging to cuffs and hem. Dress closes in back with three knitted buttons. Outfit seems to be made by the same artist as the grape and blueberry dress, Fairy Style.
~ BLUEBERRY DRESS} Blue knitted dress, hair tie with matching boots and light blue knitted tights. The dress and boots are accented with yarn embroidery in brown for the vines and green for the leaves for the dark blue plastic beads for the blueberry vines. Knitted picot to cuffs and hem edging. Closes in back with four knitted buttons. Tag on dress byFairy Style.
~ WATERMELON OUTFIT} Green, yellow and red knitted sleeveless top with matching hat, both have black seed beads stitched on to be the watermelon seeds. Top closes in back with one snap. Red stretch jersey knit tights with elastic lace waist band. Red suede type boots with easy on/off zippers at the back, complete this outfit.
~ KAOLI Also comes with her very own 3 1/4” crocheted pink yarn jointed teddy bear!
All this comes in her original, good condition box with pillow and Shiny Doll business card.
